I been trying to blog ever since I first heard the word blog. I do not blog to make money or to become famous. For me blogging is about sharing. I blog for me and then I blog for others, that is my motto.
I started out using Wordpress. It was great stuff, 75% of the time spent on my blog was tweaking, installing plugins and learning CSS. After 6 months I had a whopping 13 posts. I then went on a crusade of trying every single CMS/Blog platform available. After more disappointments I decided to settle with Squarespace. Squarespace offered the integration I needed with my other Social networking sites but it was overkill for what I was doing.
In come Posterous. I’ll be honest with you, at first I was skeptical. Posting via email? Is that even possible? What happen to all the flashy stuff other services offer? Boy was I wrong. One of the main things that immediately caught my eye was how easy it was to setup. Posterous can be anything, simple, elegant, fast, longterm, full featured, casual, serious, fun, well you get the idea. And the flashy stuff? Is there and they keep building more. Posterous is always improving. It's like having a little bit of Christmas for your blog, even during the summer months. With Posterous I can concentrate on posting instead of tinkering. Posterous has allowed me to have an audience thanks to its social network integration as well as Posterous own network. That is something none of my prior platforms offered. Posterous is so simple that posting is natural, it’s not something I have to go out of my way to do. Posterous is as simple as E-mail.Story submitted by Pascual Cora
