I had been hosting a website advertising my various freelance activities on Wordpress for a while, and it always seemed like overkill. I had used Posterous back when it launched, and had always been impressed with it, so revisited it while re-appraising my own site.
Importing the content from my existing technical blog, and the freelance website was made easy with the Posterous Wordpress import tools, and using the stock themes made tailoring the look and feel very quick and easy.
In a world where software and web services are becoming increasingly rich in functionality - and therefore more complex - it's nice to see tools that reverse that trend - tools that make things easier.
